As all of you know, it's Christmas time! In my previous post I've talked about my favourite things of this part of the year, which are my cooking traditions, etc, but today I wanted to talk you guys about the presents I've got for my friends! Actually, I haven't 'got' them, because I literally 'made' them, this is why I found super useful the tons of DIY tutorials around the Internet! God bless the DIY tutorials!!
The first thing I want to show you is the chalkboard mug, really cute and a great idea to spice up a normal white mug!

As you can see, I chose a normal white mug, and then I painted it with a chalkboard paint I made at home by myself. To help creating a straight line of paint, I used some tape that I removed once the color was dry! Doing the chalkboard paint at home, you can choose whichever color you like, and save the remaining amount for many others creations! It's seriously super easy to do, and the result is really pretty and fun! I've also decided to put inside the mug some chocolate and three pieces of colored chalks, so my friend can change the decorations according to her mood, or her taste! It was the firs time I tried to paint a mug, but I'm quite satisfied of the result!!! :D
The second gift I made is a coffee and salt scrub, quite useful this time of the year! Once again, it was super quick and easy to prepare, and it smells sooo good!!!

As you can see, it literally screams homemade from every side! The jar I chose was a marmelade one, ideal for this kind of gift. It was a fun project, 'cause this scrub is made of just 3 elements: cofee leftovers, sea salt and olive oil! You just need to save some coffee leftovers, add as much sea salt as you want the scrub to be hard, and mix everything with one tablespoon of olive oil at the time...Et voilà, your homemade coffee scrub is done! :D Isn't it super cute?? Oh, and as a plus I also added, as you can clearly see, some coffee beans on the top of it, just to give a much more cute look to the whole. On the outside I simply printed a label, and the game is done! Easy, right? ;)
The third and last one Christmas present I'm gonna show you guys, it's maybe my favourite, because of the color combination and for the result I obtained...
It's a wooden jewelry box!! Oh, I love it soo much!!! This was maybe the more challenging one, since I had to paint it first with two colors, and then do the stencils work too! I've chosen this combination of colors because the friend who will receive it has a bedroom with a lot of red around it, so I thought it would be a perfect match! The black part is made with some more of my chalkboard paint, while the red one with some normal acrylic color.
For what concerns the stencils shapes, I used an 'A', for the name of my friend, and some cute little birds on a tree, that I found adorable! Once everything was dry, I gave the final shining look using a varnish, and it was ready!! :D
Obviously you can use whichever color you like, the stencils you like, etc, and I'm sure the result will be amazing! I'm so thrilled to see the look on my friends'faces while they'll open this gifts!
I think that was all for today, hope you enjoyed my little Christmas presents ideas, and let me know if you tried some of them! Byyeee!!
