I always had the idea of opening a blog, but it was due to this particular situation that I've actually realized it.
Here I am: an Italian girl ready to write about her Spanish experience, following the daily life, through ups and downs, spices and chats, as I choose to name this blog!
-------------------------------------------
Everything started when, like everyone else, I didn't know what to do after graduation. Let's just say that at that point of my life, I've been kissed by fortune! So, I prepared my luggage and left for Andalusia, Spain! It should be just a temporary situation (6 months), but we'll see what will happen!
At the end of October I found out that in January I was supposed to move in Andalusia, and it seemed soo far away, that I had lot of time to organize everything. Predictably, I did everything in December! LOL
Leaving Italy was weird...on the one hand, going back to Spain was my dream since I first left it five yers ago, and obviously I'm happy about this job opportunity, but on the other hand I felt a sort of 'emptiness', because I don't know what is expecting me after these six months...because I had to leave behind my family and friends, in a country that doesn't have that much to offer to young people. It was a big change, and I hope it will bring good things!
---------------------------------------
The trip was more tiring than I expected, since our links with the world from the South of Italy are terrible! In addition to that, I wore 5 liars of clothes, I carried a luggage of 20kg, a handbag of 10, and now you have a clearer idea of how I get here! I'm in Cordoba only for a few days, so it's a bit early to tell you my impressions of the city, of the rommates etc, but I promise I'll write you everything, as soon as I can... :)
With this picture of the volcano Etna covered by snow, taken by me from the airplane, I'll wait for you on my next post!
Nutmeg ^^
